Crag Stewards
The Stewards’ key role is to act as a line of communication between the climbing community, the CCT and land managers.
The Crag Stewardship program is an initiative of the Climbers Club of Tasmania (CCT). It seeks to ensure the club maintains a close awareness of crag issues in Tasmania, and to facilitate efficient communication among the climbing community

Aims
To establish a point of contact for climbers (visiting or local) with regard to environmental, cultural or social sensitivities around specific cliffs.
Provide a known contact point for the CCT, and/or Crag Care, when making decisions around crag management.
Ensure up-to-date information about evolving issues at cliffs is relayed to the CCT for timely and appropriate management.
Establish and maintain relationships with other stakeholders, such as land managers.
